When their old TMZ diecutter broke, Nick Ingham called us to see what we could offer.
The brief was specific. Size was limited and the machine needed to run inline with an existing printer..oh…and a rapid delivery time as they were down.
Century rose to the challenge and completed in a new 1300 Plus fully auto diecutter in under a week.
The next challenge was the physical installation. The only entrance to that area of the factory was down a steep ramp, across a waste pit and between two existing machines.
Our engineers completed the installation in record time and the machine was running product five days after arrival.
“We’re delighted with it” commented David Ingham, “the machine runs so smoothly and quietly unlike our other diecutter”.
Diamond adds yet another Century
Having already installed 4 Century diecutters, Diamonpak Wales looked no further for a fifth.
The new 1670 Ultra machine came directly from Drupa 2024 where it was demonstrated each day on the Century stand.
The machine was installed side by side to an existing 1650 Ultra machine.
Century for Caps
As Caps Cases already had 2 Century machines, one 1650 fully automatic and one 2100 semi automatic installed in Newmarket, when the need for a new fully automatic machine in their Glasgow factory arose, again, Century proved the logical choice.
Opting for the Plus model with a size of 1650x1200 and speed of 4500 sheets per hour, the machine replaced an old Marumatisu diecutter.
